1 hour Class size 1 to 20     label $30

If you're looking for a therapeutic craft that will also bring natural beauty to your home, learn Ikebana. In this virtual workshop, you will learn the art of Japanese flower arranging, also known as Ikebana, at home!

When you hear about Ikebana, you might think you need special tools and skills. For this class, we will help you make a simple Ikebana arrangement at your home using standard tools you probably already have.

You will need to find your own flowers, but any flowers will do! Just make sure to get 2-3 varieties, and choose what you like. We don’t need a lot. You will also need a vase, but you can use any kind of container as long as it has a little depth. Even a glass, a coffee cup, or a cereal bowl will work. You might surprise yourself with how nice a non-traditional vase can look with a cute arrangement of flowers.

In this class, your instructor will start by checking everyone's tools and flowers. Then they will help you with tips on how to build up and create your own Ikebana arrangement.

For this Ikebana class, bring your creativity and we will support you with some Ikebana theory. The most important thing is that flowers can help you relax and this class can be a therapeutic time for you to focus and create. You don’t need so many rules: let’s relax and enjoy touching flowers while adding life and warmth to your home in this class.

If you're looking for fun virtual team-building activities to help your team unwind, this soothing and meditative activity is just what they need to melt their stress away.
