What you'll do

Take sushi night to the next level and learn how to make it at home in this online sushi making workshop.

In this virtual class, you will learn how to make your own creative sushi rolls with a few simple household ingredients. Even if you don’t have the usual sushi ingredients at home, you can make simple sushi rolls with ingredients for sandwiches.

In this class, you can learn a new cooking skill and enjoy quality time with friends and family. This also makes for great ideas for kids’ virtual birthday parties, team-building activities, or remote cooking activities with friends you cannot see in person.

You can either choose to order a sushi-making kit, that your instructor will mail conveniently to your door with all the necessary sushi-making supplies and ingredients or you can source your own items.

What you'll need

If you want to source your own supplies, you will need:

Makisu (sushi mat for rolling)
Cutting board
Knife
Wet towel
Small bowl with water
Sushi Nori (seaweed)
Sushi Vinegar
Cooked Rice (3 cups of uncooked rice per participant. Please make sure you cook rice in advance!)
Ingredients you’d like roll in your sushi (omelet, cucumber, avocado, salmon, smoked salmon, cream cheese, tuna salad, ham, lettuce, sesame seeds, whatever you’d like!)
