During this two hour online class, which is perfect for beginners, you will learn three different knots to make a beautiful macrame plant hanger. The best part about these hangers is that you can truly place your houseplants anywhere!
As part of the experience, you'll receive a DIY kit that includes everything you need to get started, such as pre-cut macrame cord, a wooden hoop, and eight wooden beads. This kit makes it easy for you to dive right into the creative process without any hassle!

Your teacher
Antonia is a Chilean interdisciplinary artist. She focuses her work on story telling and the healing nature of art. Antonia was born in Santiago, Chile and immigrated with her family to Mobile, Alabama at the age of two. She moved back to the motherland as a teenager and lived in Vina del Mar, Chile until she graduated as a designer. From 2017-2021, she worked as a design educator in Providence, Rhode Island throughout middle schools and high schools from the Providence Public School District. She continued her work as an educator in Oakland, California, until May of 2023.
Antonia connects her work to healing due to the value that it has brought into her life. She sees exploring mediums and dedicating time into her crafts as a spaces where curiosity and play are welcome. She currently shares her knowledge with others through workshops, throughout the Bay Area as well as virtually.
