What you'll do
Learn ukelele from the comfort of your own home in this virtual workshop! This is a private, half-hour lesson with me for ukulele learners. Your instructor will have a list of songs to learn and practice, and is open to suggestions as well!
This class will help you get your footing for finding chord fingerings, strumming, and playing in time! Your instructor will discuss tuning, posture, left hand, right hand, picking vs. finger-strumming, chord fingerings- anything that you need to know to jam!
Guided practice from an expert can help you move faster, and get past frustrating roadblocks. There are plenty of challenges people face and have simple fixes that they might not think of on their own for a long time. Some students opt for recurring lessons after the first, and some just want to get a good start to learn on their own. Either way, your instructor is happy to help you on your musical journey!

Hello! I'm Dylan, a music educator and freelancer. I've been teaching private lessons and group classes for Voice, Ukulele, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Upright Bass, Oboe, French Horn, and Trumpet since 2013. I teach people of all ages, all genres, all neurodivergencies, etc.
I love to share my experience and knowledge, and get joyful when my students excel at their instrument of choice.
I started on the oboe in middle/high school band, then earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Music from the University of California at Irvine. Since college, I've regularly performed professionally with jazz combos, as well as bands (funk, rock, blues, folk, americana, etc.) at weddings, receptions, private parties, wineries, and more.
