Make Solid Shampoo and Conditioner Bars

Learn how to create environmentally conscious hair care products in this online workshop! In this workshop, you'll learn how to make your own solid shampoo and conditioner bars that are perfect for both hair and body. Led by expert soapmaker, Marla Bosworth, this hands-on experience will teach you the techniques needed to create these Lush-type bars that will last for up to 80 washes – the equivalent of nearly four bottles of liquid shampoo!

These syndet bars are made differently than the cold process method which is better for your hair and scalp! Best of all, no packaging is required, making them environmentally friendly.

In your first session, you will learn how to make soap. If you can't make class, a recorded version can be sent out to you! The following day will include an office-hours session with your instructor where you can ask any questions!

Don't worry if you're new to soapmaking; this class is designed for beginners and aims to alleviate any fears you may have about the process. Marla will guide you through step-by-step, providing an information-packed class handout with detailed instructions, recipes, and a valuable supplier list. By the end of the class, you'll have the knowledge and skills to recreate these bars at home.
