What you'll do
If you love espresso, you'll love this virtual workshop! In this online baking and cocktail workshop, you'll honor the well loved beverage with two coffee-based recipes: tiramisu and espresso martinis!
Making your own Tiramisu does not have to be intimidating. Once you try it, with Chef Laura's key techniques and tried and tested recipe, you will realize it’s not that hard to do. Using just a few quality ingredients, you can confidently produce this Italian restaurant-quality Tiramisu for a "pick me up" or romantic shared dessert. It’s also the perfect make-ahead for a dinner party.
Learn how to choose proper ingredients, separate eggs, whip cream, make safe-to-eat zabaglione, and assemble Tiramisu with a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture and perfect balance of flavor. Since your Tiramisu needs to set and you won’t be serving it immediately, we’ll also whip up Espresso Martinis to enjoy right away with the scraps and to toast with friends. We won’t let any of these stellar ingredients go to waste.
Teaching Table also offers alcohol-free substitutions and a slightly shorter version of this class without the Espresso Martinis. Just ask!
