What you'll do

Gelli printing is an easy and fun way to create one-of-a-kind art! In this printmaking class in Seattle, you will learn all the gelli printing basics from your instructor, Rosalie Gale.

This new form of printmaking might sound strange, and admittedly it kind of is, but you'll quickly learn the fun side of this creative art! Using a print block made of a gelatinous material, we'll ink them up and make some gorgeous prints using color and texture and stencils. You will leave with a stack of stunning papers that you can use as backgrounds for other art pieces, cut them out into mobiles or garlands, bind them into a sketchbook - or anything else you can dream up. Your creativity isn't limited to the printmaking process!

If you're looking for new hobbies to try, have seen gelli printing videos and are eager to try it yourself, or are looking for fun activities for birthday parties or team building activities, this class presents a fun and friendly environment to learn a new creative project.

Proof of vaccination is required to attend this class. Additionally, you are required to wear a mask during the class. Monster is a unique shop dedicated to supporting independent artists. Located in Ballard at 1716 NW Market Street. We feature a different artist on the second Saturday of each month during the Ballard Art Walk.
