What you'll do
Get crafty in a mosaic workshop in Austin! Create a colorful work of art with this hands-on and relaxing activity. This fun and simple craft is a unique way to spend an afternoon and learn a new skill!
This workshop includes hands-on instruction from professional artists and all the tools, materials, and supplies you will need to make your mosaic artwork. Choose between coasters, pixel art, a small panel, or an address plate to customize into your own mosaic art. This workshop can be incredibly calming-- from choosing a color palette to fit your style and mood to creating your glass collage piece by piece! Depending on the project, your class can take between 2-3 hours.
Surrounded by art in the gallery and shared studio spaces throughout the house, indulge in your creative side, and make your own one-of-a-kind mosaic you can take home! Come spend a day exploring your creativity or book a group event and celebrate by doing an art project with friends!

You will choose to make Coasters (4"), Pixel Art (5–7"), Small Panel (approx. 8" x 10"), Address Plate (6" x 17").

The Mosaic Workshop hosts low-cost workshops teaching people of all ages and abilities the art of mosaic making. In addition, The Mosaic Workshop creates ambitious community-led mosaic murals, and has facilitated the creation of 36 and counting portraits as part of The Legends Project, a series depicting cultural leaders across industries in stunning mosaic public artworks.
Our in-studio workshops are open from beginner to advanced levels, so come on in, and make a mosaic under our professional creative guidance.
