What you'll do
If you think you've run out of things to do at home, you should challenge yourself to paint your pet with this unique virtual experience!
In this group class, you will learn how to make a portrait in your beloved pet's image. This is a fun way to learn DIY painting in an engaging online class setting. Your teacher with Valley Painting Parties will guide your group to success with step-by-step instructions and plenty of time to get advice or ask questions.
Everything you need will be shipped to you in a craft kit so all you have to do is show up with enthusiasm to learn. This is a lively way to gather with friends and family for a little virtual party to honor your fur babies. Workgroups looking for remote team building activities will have a blast doing something out of the ordinary while showing off their pets.
At the end of class, you will have a handpainted canvas to display and admire!
Please note
Email a photo of your pet at least five days before class so your teacher can prepare your canvases.
There is a $9 fee for each kit shipping to the Bay Area. Fees outside of this area cost $12-$16 depending on location.

Your teacher
Stacey Houghton is an accomplished artist and instructor. She discovered art at a young age and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cogswell Polytechnic College and a Masters of Fine Arts at Rochester Institute of Technology. She went on to build a successful career as a professional artist working in many different facets of art, including graphic design, screen printing, and art instruction.
Although Stacey has spent decades working in various mediums, painting has always been her preferred method for self-expression. Stacey founded Valley Painting Parties to share her passion with the community and provide a place where people of all ages and abilities can discover the joy and overwhelming feeling of success from painting. Her passion for expert instruction coupled with her desire to create, makes Stacey an exceptional instructor and mentor.
Stacey pulls artistic inspiration from the beauty inherent in everyday life. She is a wife, mother of two, and volunteers her time as an art docent for local schools. Her personal works of art have been featured in gallery showings throughout California.
