Play with Clay Hand Building Workshop

Enjoy a fun and immersive playdate with clay in this hand building workshop in LA! This handbuilding ceramics workshop is a playful and low-stakes learning environment that is grounded in exploration and letting go of expectations. You will work with terracotta clay and are welcome to make anything you would like, such as sculptural, abstract, and functional forms.No experience is necessary and all ages welcome! This workshop is perfect for those who are curious about working with clay for the first time and those with various levels of experience who would like to create in a communal and welcoming space. Many find ceramics a relaxing craft and a valuable creative outlet. This hand building class for beginners will allow you the opportunity to explore and unwind with this creative and tactile medium. Bring friends, book a fun group activity, or join solo and meet other inspired people in your community! All materials are included and participants can build as many pieces as they'd like within the two-hour period. We will be working with unglazed terracotta clay that, once fired, can be used for anything except holding liquids. All pieces will be fired and ready for pickup within three weeks after the workshop.Please note:

• The workshop space is ADA accessible. A bathroom is available for workshop participants that has a set of 3 stairs leading to it that is not currently ADA accessible. For any specific needs or additional questions on accessibility, please contact the teacher.
• If you are unable to attend the workshop you may transfer your spot to another person, please confirm with the studio when doing so.
