What you'll do
Explore a fun and creative activity for your next special event or group activity with this ceramics class in Los Angeles! With this private group workshop, you can host a unique birthday party, team building activity, bachelor/ette party and more! This one-day workshop fosters a friendly and casual learning environment grounded in exploration and letting go of expectations. This is a beginner-friendly craft class that requires no prior experience, so your whole group can feel at ease trying something new together. Choose between learning pinch pots, coil building, or slab building on the day of your workshop. With these techniques, you can essentially build anything! Workshops can be geared towards other techniques when specially requested. Your group will also be able to choose between clays and glaze colors upon arrival.Your instructor will guide you through your experience, providing assistance to help you make handmade ceramics you are proud to take home! While you're creating and learning, you can relax, socialize, and bond with your group over the shared activity. Please note:The workshop space is ADA accessible. A bathroom is available for workshop participants that has a set of 3 stairs leading to it that is not currently ADA accessible. For any specific needs or additional questions on accessibility, please contact the teacher.

Her ceramics are a vehicle to both connect with her ancestors and create good quality goods for her community. Her work is made with the intention to last generations.Sooki Studio aims to provide access to ceramics as a means to support mental wellness and foster community. Natalia has been teaching over the last decade from the kindergarten level ranging to university graduate students in the US, Europe and the Middle East.
