Don't fret if you're new to working with ferns – this workshop is perfect for beginners! Your instructor will walk you through creating a beautiful staghorn fern mount. With this guidance and surrounded by natural elements, you'll feel relaxed while creating your project.
Throughout the class, you'll get hands-on experience working with these fascinating plants. You'll learn about the anatomy of Staghorn Ferns and how they thrive as epiphytes without needing soil.
In this workshop, you will:
- Gain an understanding of the shield fronds and antler fronds of the Staghorn Fern
- Explore how these ferns gather nutrients from the air and rainwater
- Discover the adaptability of Staghorn Ferns when mounted indoors on wooden planks or moss-covered boards
