Get ready to learn what makes a great cup of tea, including history, tea flavors, and more, in this tea tasting in Issaquah. This is an introduction to tea where you will learn what tea is, where tea is grown and produced, and how tea becomes white, green, oolong, black and pu’erh.

This class is for everyone from beginners to passionate tea lovers. With an experienced guide, they'll teach you all the basics of tea tasting. You’ll learn the difference between tea and tisane (and does it matter?). We’ll taste teas from the top five tea-producing Asian countries: China, Taiwan, Japan, Sri Lanka, and India. There is fun history, myth, and lore shared—you won’t be bored.

This class is recommended for all people curious about tea and is especially helpful if taken prior to our other classes. Young people 10 and older do great in this class and it’s a perfect multi-generational family event. If you're looking for family-friendly activities in Issaquah, this is a relaxing activity that will delight all ages.

Please note
Your teacher can travel to your venue in the Seattle area. For these mobile workshops, she can accommodate group sizes with a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 100 people.
