Have you ever wanted to create your own miniature natural world? Well, with this workshop from The Works Seattle, you'll learn how to make a terrarium so you can enjoy a little slice of nature inside the comfort of your own home.

No green thumb? No problem. In this class, your plant loving teacher will guide you through everything you need to know about how to make a succulent terrarium, including creating an environment for your plants to thrive in and the best (and easiest!) strategies for keeping your succulents alive.

This workshop will take you through the steps necessary to build a DIY terrarium inside a glass vessel. You will layer the base with sand, soil, and rocks, and plant 2-3 succulents. You'll also get to adorn your terrarium with cute creatures, provided by The Works, to add some personality to your little plant habitat. Whether you're looking for group team building activities or just fun things to do in Seattle with family or friends, this hands-on workshop makes a great choice.

In the end, you'll leave with your brand new homemade terrarium, plus the skills and know-how to care for it.

We’re always happy to travel to you! This option is available within the greater Seattle area (including the east side) for an additional flat fee of $500, which covers the time and expense of transport, set-up, and break-down.
