What you'll do
Looking for places to visit in New York City? Why not make the rounds of bridges, guided by a New York-based professional photographer who will teach you how to capture beautiful images?
In this photography class, you'll head out under the cover of night to learn the secrets to getting great nighttime photos, such as how to take effective pictures without a flash and how to manage long exposures. Ever wondered how to do trailing lights in a photo? This class will give you plenty of practice!
Not just a photography class, this experience is also a sightseeing tour of some New York City attractions - namely, the city's beloved bridges. You'll begin in Queens at the Queensborough Bridge, then make your way to Brooklyn and the Williamsburg Bridge. Then, you'll take a ferry ride to Manhattan, giving you the opportunity to photograph the Manhattan skyline along with the Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge from the water. You'll end the excursion by photographing the Brooklyn Bridge from the Manhattan side. The whole time, you'll be learning tips and tricks to getting great nighttime images from the seasoned professional photographer leading your tour.
Whether you are an experienced shutterbug or a beginner with a budding interest, this class is a great choice as it is geared towards all experience levels. Grab an artistic-minded friend or two, or even plan this class as a date night in New York City! You'll leave this experience with a ton of new nighttime photography knowledge, as well as some beautiful images you can be proud to display.
