In this class in NYC, you'll practice and learn all the basic skills for weaving, starting with how to warp a loom. Get creative and personalize your handmade woven art with yarn of various weights and textures to match your personality. You will learn a variety of popular weaving stitches including, the tabby weave, soumak, and rya knots. This weaving workshop is a great way to learn the craft as you'll have an experienced instructor by your side to get you started on the right foot!

All materials needed to complete a 10" woven wall hanging including a homemade loom, warp thread, needles, a variety of textures and colors of yarn, and a driftwood piece sourced in Lake Michigan to hang the piece when you're finished.

This class is great for a team building activity, birthday or bachelorette party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.
