In 2006 I began my pottery journey with a simple class at the local community college. My first class focused on handbuilding with clay. The following class then moved to the pottery wheel and I was hooked. I continue to fine tune my craft on the pottery wheel. I primarily work with the pottery wheel making functional pieces with strong bold glazes. All my pieces are food safe and fired to cone 5/6 temperature.

I signed up with my husband to experience the ceramic class. Jennifer was such a patient and cheerful instructor, and she made our class really enjoyable. The class was easy to follow as a first time beginner. Highly recommend it!

Jennifer was so patient and kind in teaching my friend and I how to work the wheel and perfect our pieces. Despite being a beginner, I felt so much more comfortable after being taught some helpful tricks on centering and pulling the clay. She also made sure we had water and snacks in case we got hungry. Highly recommend this class

Jennifer is one of the most patient and amazing teachers I’ve had! We started our class a bit late since we were stuck in traffic on our way there, but she was extremely accommodating to our schedule. Her studio is super cute and tidy and she had all the materials ready for us before our arrival. She is extremely knowledgeable about wheel throwing techniques and tools and adapted to our style of learning for us to be able to get maximum benefit out of the workshop. We ended up taking 4 pieces each and we are looking forward to having the final glazed pieces in our home soon. Thank you Jennifer for the most memorable experience for our first time with ceramics :)

Wonderful experience! The art space is such a cool space and Jennifer’s energy and vision were marvelous, not to mention she got us in for a class that same evening (which was so appreciated as we are expecting any day now!)

Jennifer was an amazing pottery teacher for our private class for 3 people. One beginner and two had experience and we all had so much fun making a few pieces each like plates cups and bowls. Jennifer is fun, entertaining, and so knowledgeable. I highly recommend this class! 10/10 cannot wait to return for another class!
