What you'll do
Master a delicious French recipe and learn how to bake your own sweet and savory galettes from scratch with this fun online class!
Guided by experienced chef Jen, this online cooking class will teach you how to make a pastry dough that's versatile and guaranteed to yield the flakiest crust before adding toppings to create strawberry cheesecake and pesto heirloom tomato galettes — perfect for dinner parties, dates, or home-cooked meals.
Invite your friends and family to join you for class so you can connect virtually and make these two seasonal galettes together. Even beginners will be able to follow along and everyone has the opportunity to interact with Chef Jen and ask questions as you go.
In just a short time, you'll have your meal and dessert both ready to go and the skills to recreate these dishes again and again!
Please note:
- You should make your pastry dough before class so that it has at least an hour to sit in the fridge. Chef Jen also recommends using a food processor when making your dough.
- Tickets are on a per-person basis.
What to bring
You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list to bring before your class. Please make sure you have everything measured out and ready as described so that you can follow along with your chef in real-time!

Chef Jen is a Mom of two wonderful girls, as well as a Community Education Culinary Instructor and former Specialty Bakeshop owner. She helps make everyday cooking simple, flavorful, and with no artificial ingredients. She loves to use fresh herbs and spices to naturally enhance the flavor of food. Aside from cooking savory foods, she is also passionate about baking and decorating cakes. Chef Jen loves to teach kids classes! When she isn't cooking or baking, Chef Jen loves to attend yoga classes.
