What you'll do
Create a custom ceramic vessel from start to finish in this pottery workshop in NYC! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of hand building and painting your very own ceramic vessel.
Whether you choose to make a beautiful mug, a unique vase, you'll leave this class with a piece that is truly one-of-a-kind. Don't worry if you're a beginner - our experienced instructor will guide you every step of the way, ensuring that you feel supported and confident throughout the entire process.
During the workshop, you'll have three hours to immerse yourself in the world of ceramics. We provide all the materials you'll need, so all you need to bring is your creativity and a willingness to learn. You'll work with clay, experiment with different hand-building techniques, and explore the art of painting ceramics.
Once the workshop is complete, your piece will be carefully finished and fired in our kiln. In just two weeks, you'll be able to proudly display or use your creation. You can either pick up your piece from the studio or if you prefer, we can arrange to mail it to you. We want you to cherish your creation, and our team will ensure that it is packaged safely and securely for transit.

Kaitlyn Sather, the artist behind kaitlynsgood, crafts each of her thoughtfully made pieces from her home studio based in Long Island, New York. She has a multidisciplinary background in fine arts with an emphasis on painting, which has informed her focus on soft, ethereal palettes. Kaitlyn’s delicate bodies of work explore themes of vulnerability, humor, and femininity through a sweet and whimsical lens.
Beyond her personal practice, Kaitlyn is passionate about art being a powerful tool for healing. Her work as an arts specialist and teacher, connecting with children, teens, adults and seniors has given her the invaluable experience of witnessing the impact art making has on a wide range of perspectives. She is consistently moved by the moments quiet and wonder that are often found within the most simple artistic structures.
When she’s not creating, Kaitlyn enjoys practicing yoga and meditation, spending time with her animal (and some human) friends, trying to garden, and playing dungeons and dragons. Though most often, she’s found in her studio, covered in clay, seeking out something good.
