I bought my mom this class as a gift and we thoroughly enjoyed it! First, bios apothecary was super accommodating because I had some issues with scheduling. Second, at the actual class Jimmy, our teacher was amazing. He was very experienced and you could tell that he really knew and understood his stuff. We got to smell a bunch of different fragrances and then narrow down which ones paired well withI bought my mom this class as a gift and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We got to smell a bunch of different fragrances and then narrow down which ones paired well with with another and while my mom ended up nailing her combination, Jimmy really helped me make my perfume smell great. I went with a peach-magnolia-marshmallow-ambergris combo while my mom did grapefruit-cucumber (which smells amazing btw)-lilly-ambergris combo and they both came out amazing. We also got to decorate the bottles which was super cute (see attached pics). All in all we would totally do this again either for fun or maybe for a birthday activity or a work outing. A wonderful and educational class! EunYoung is very knowledgeable and patient as a teacher, she was so helpful teaching us all about matcha and how to make a proper cup. She went through the history, origins, types, and instruction on how to prepare matcha. I bought this course as a gift for my wife’s birthday and she enjoyed it a lot. Got this as a Christmas present and I loved it! We got a feel for the clay and were able to just have fun and make little pots and bowls. Definitely want to go back for another class

If we liked the scent we dipped our tester strip into the sample and kept it at our workstation. The next step was to use our sample strips to come up with a combination we liked and create our own perfume. I appreciated her encouragement for creativity and intuition on our part during this process as much as she was willing to make suggestions when asked to do so by one of my fellow workshop mates. My group was small (7 total), diverse, friendly and engaged; overall, a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere that Saturday morning. Our workshop leader, Michelle, provided tons of information but avoided lecturing, listened intently to and provided answers to questions throughout the workshop. I had a great time immersed in smelling and designing. It reminded me of wine tasting where you set aside time to compare and explore with one of your senses--but here you walk away with your own creation!
