Thai cooking emphasizes lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic components and a spicy edge. In this class, Chef Jen will guide you step-by-step in recreating a delicious Thai red curry recipe using either chicken or eggplant for a vegetarian option!
You'll experiment with Thai red curry paste, a versatile and flavorful base for many Thai dishes. The classic recipe consists of red chilli peppers, garlic, salt, lemongrass, turmeric, and shrimp paste. But, it will work perfectly if you buy the paste at the store ahead of class.
On the menu: - Chicken Thai red curry.
- Eggplant Thai red curry. (V)
- Steamed white rice.
Once you have created your curry masterpiece, you'll serve it over steamed white rice to enjoy a delicious, warming meal at the end of class.
