Freestyle Ceramics & Tufting

My friend and I had such a blast doing this. This is now one of my favorite hobbies. This class inspired me to get tufting tools of my own so I could do this everyday!

I have taken many crafty classes before (paint and sip, pottery, clay etc.), but this has got to be my favorite one I have done. Tufting is perfect for those who are slightly impatient like me but still want to use their hands for an activity that doesn’t involve too many screens.

The class was well structured. Carlos, our teacher, was patient and kind with us from the start, making sure we positioned our photos exactly how we wanted it. When we used the tools for the first time, he taught us different techniques and was willing to hang with us until we felt confident to go off on our own. The shop has many yarn colors that perfectly matched with how we wanted our rug to come out!

Very fun class. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely do another class again.

Overall, definitely a fun experience. I do feel like there could have been a little more hands on guidance on how to operate the machine. I appreciated the time to practice, but it would have been nice to have someone with us for the first 5 minutes or so to model and correct mistakes, as it did take some trial and error to get going. But like I said, a fun experience and something I'm glad I got a chance to try. Staff was friendly, space was welcoming

Loved the class! The projector was helpful and the technology was cool. I would have appreciated more attention throughout the class to make sure we are on the right page, and set the expectation at the start of the class on what to expect (how long it takes, tips for a good design idea, pick up rug in a week).
