What you'll do

Explore French flavors in this dessert making class in Austin! In this baking workshop, you will learn how to make macarons, a French favorite!

Don your chef aprons, grab your whisks, and let's get baking! In this fun and interactive class, you will learn the fine art of making these mouthwatering morsels that are easy enough to be done in your own kitchen!

Together with our classically trained Pastry Chef Instructor, we will demystify the making of these highly sought-after meringue-based sandwich cookies. Our Pastry Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration before you are guided step-by-step in replicating the process of meringue mixing, otherwise known as 'macaronage', piping, baking, assembling, and of course, eating!

We will also explore a few flavor profiles and filling variations such as buttercream, ganache, and fruit preserves to make your macarons really stand out from the rest!

No experience is required! This is a baking class for beginners designed for success! Your instructor will provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don't already have them in your home kitchen. Whether you are used to wearing an apron or not, this class will teach you all you need to know about how to make macarons!

Knowledge required

Beginner-friendly. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+.

What you'll get

The nature of our classes is set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Drinks are not included in the ticket price, however guests 21+ may purchase beverages from the lobby bar within the venue.
