Helen Spaw

Helen Spaw, MPS, President & Circle Host, has experience as a therapist, group leader, and art teacher for all ages and abilities. She holds a Masters in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from New York’s Pratt Institute, and her Bachelors in Psychology with an Art minor and focus in Art Therapy from the College of Santa Fe.

I began life as an artist and realized my passion is in guiding others to find their own inner and creative voice to enhance their lives. For the past 12 years I have been the director of a Fine Arts Academy where I teach students of all ages (2.5 and up) and abilities, including those on the autism spectrum and those with GT needs.

I also created and lead art programs in the community in collaboration with other organizations. This includes a studio art program for 1500 unhoused participants per year. I also started my own wellness through art company in 2020 that leads classes and workshops in the community.
I am inspired by helping others discover their creative process.
