Take your gin and tonics to a whole new level by making your own tonic syrup. Using cinchona bark, whole spices, and fresh citrus you'll be infusing and blending flavors to make a unique tonic for all your drinks.

Got a gin cocktails lover? Show them how well you know them with this tonic-making class for a gift experience. It's a fun thing to do at home where you can customize the sweetness, spices, botanicals, and notes, all to be the perfect tonic for the G and T of your dreams.

Your adventure into tonics will be guided by an experienced and passionate teacher who can't wait to share all their best tips and tricks with you. They will explain the history of tonic and how it is used around the world to ward off malaria.

A craft kit with key supplies and a few spices will be sent to you before the online class starts. You'll then make a tonic syrup that will be ready to use by the end of the class, but it would also benefit from a steep in the fridge overnight to strengthen the flavors.

This creative virtual experience will tickle your tastebuds and have you falling in love with artisanal tonics that you can whip up without leaving your home!

High Desert Botanicals is a small shop founded by Janel Johnson and Reese Tietje that makes cocktail bitters. When they began their journey they had no luck finding ingredients like milk thistle seeds and burdock root at their local supermarkets and could only buy in bulk from wholesale companies online.

They considered there might be others out there who want to experiment with the fun of making their own cocktail ingredients but also would struggle to find smaller batches of tricky botanicals. So, they decided to sell kits and put on classes to make this fun activity accessible to all.

Join Janel and Reese as they share the joy of making tonics, gin, vermouth, and more! Use them in refreshing cocktails and take your tastebuds on an amazing journey using ingredients you never dreamed you could make at home!
