On the hunt for fun new things to do at home? Come and master the classic Polish dumplings, Pierogies, along with some beer (pilsner) education from Chef Michele, who is also a certified Sommelier!
Pierogies are similar to dumplings and empanadas on the outside, but the most traditional way to fill them is with potatoes. You will learn two different fillings in this class, classic mashed potato and mashed potato with cheese and onion.
You'll be guided step-by-step through the process of making your dough from scratch before making your fillings and assembling your pierogies to drop into simmering water to cook.
How you participate in the beer pairing portion of the class is entirely up to you! Chef Michele recommends having Eastern European Pilsner Beer available to enjoy with your Pierogies, but also to discuss the flavor compatibility and how you can consider pairing brews with your food in the future.
Invite your friends and family to join you so you can connect virtually and enjoy a fun evening of cooking and drinking beer together — it's one of the best indoor activities for beginner chefs!
