Portrait Collage Making Workshop

Learn the art of portrait design and collage in this inspiring and imaginative craft workshop in San Mateo. In this dynamic and inclusive session, you will have the opportunity to create stunning physical and or digital portraits using a variety of materials, with a special focus on florals and foliage.

No experience is necessary, and our knowledgeable instructor will guide you every step of the way, alleviating any fears you may have. You'll learn collaging basics to create unique portraits that will make beautiful wall art or gift ideas through the use of Procreate, Canva or physical with paper techniques. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class is designed to empower self-expression, celebrate your unique style, and foster a sense of community through the vibrant medium of collage.

During the workshop, you will learn how to combine different elements to create captivating portraits that showcase your personal style. You'll discover techniques for selecting and arranging materials, creating visually pleasing compositions, and adding depth and texture to your artwork.

Beginner friendly!
  A completed portrait design/collage artwork.
  For physical portraits/ collages you should bring at least one physical copy of a portrait to collage. We will supply everything else!
If you'd like to create a digital collage instead you should bring your computer, Ipad & Ipad pencil, have downloaded Procreate or Canva, and have at least one photo of yourself or loved ones prepared.
