Enjoy a relaxing evening playing with clay in this ceramics class in Tarzana with Blue Barn City Farm. No date necessary, the clay will be your plus one!

This beginner-friendly pottery class will focus on learning the basic techniques for working with clay. Maybe you'll leave with a functional mug (or three) or another vessel! All supplies will be provided.

You'll learn basic hand building and wheel throwing skills to create your pieces, providing you with the essential foundations for ceramics. This class is perfect for beginners and requires no experience! Your instructor will guide you through the process, giving you personalized instruction so you can craft functional or sculptural handmade vessels and a better understanding of this craft. You can pick your glaze colors and staff will dry, glaze and fire your pieces which will be ready in about 6 weeks.

This pottery workshop is a wonderful way to spend an evening -- relax, socialize, and create something unique!

Welcome to Blue Barn City Farm in Tarzana, California where community, art, wellness and farm animals come together to play, learn, create and heal. Home to the Roché family, Avian Recording Company, Sisu Studio, Bruno the burro, goats, turkeys, chickens and giant rabbits, we host ceramics workshops, yoga classes, sound baths and special events for all ages. Co-founder, Zoë Roché fell in love with ceramics in high school and yoga in her 20's. She now has a spacious outdoor ceramics studio with a large table, a kiln and a few wheels so that she may support students of all ages and abilities.
Zoë also welcomes Sound Yoga guides Erin and Matt Tice and Yoga teacher Brandi Holland to facilitate classes on the Blue Barn City Farm lawn.
