What you'll do
You don’t have to keep all of your little treasures buried! This wood-burning workshop in San Francisco is an ideal art for beginners class and teaches you how to create a personalized design on a cute treasure box.
Wood burning is an art form that goes back centuries and can be a beautiful way to create surface designs. Your teacher from Spark Studio will guide you through the process and help you learn how to make illustrations and patterns using wood-burning tools. The techniques are simple and safe, so it’s an ideal DIY crafts class if you are looking for art activities while learning something new.
It’s a time to unwind and get into a creative headspace. This is an introductory class, so even if you don’t consider yourself particularly crafty, you can enjoy the relaxing setting while learning a craft for beginners.

I’m Carrie Leeb, an artist/designer/teacher/entrepreneur/Bay Area native, and I love making things. I feel most alive when I’m creating, and I want to impart this same passion for exploring, experimenting, and making to as many people as I can (like you!). Spark Studio’s a place where this happens.
