What you'll do
The traditional Buche de Noel or Christmas Yule log is the most famous dessert for the holidays in France. Learn how to make this delectable French pastry in NYC!
Making a Yule log includes sponge cake, fresh butter cream and of course, baking! In this hands-on class led by a culinary instructor, students will do each of these three steps and make and decorate their own Buche de Noel to take home. Enjoy it yourself with a cup of tea or give it to someone special as a unique food gift.
This class is BYOB, and the kitchen will be open 10 minutes before the listed class time. Feel free to get refreshments and enjoy a laidback, festive atmosphere. This class is beginner-friendly so don't by shy if you don't have much experience.
You'll leave this festive culinary class with your completed Buche de Noel, as well as recipes and detailed instructions so you can prepare your own at home and impress your family and friends this holiday season!
Please Note:
- All classes/events are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Students work in groups of 4 (maximum).
- Once a booking is confirmed, you cannot add additional guests to your booking.
IMPORTANT: In order to ensure a great experience for all, participants who arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled class time will not be permitted to join the class and will forfeit the class. No refunds or rescheduling will be permitted.
