Hello future storyteller! I'm Rodney, a comic book artist, children's book illustrator and comic arts teacher here to help you create that awesome story stuck in your head!
I've been studying, drawing and teaching comics and children's books for over 15 years. My background in art comes from studying at Savanah College of Art and Design where I recived my Bachelors degree in Comic Art. I have multiple published works including my most recent work; a high fantasy adventure called TRINITY BLADE. I've also taught comics and visual storytelling to kids and adults both in individual private sessions as well as group classes both with the goal of producing sequential art the students are proud of.
By taking classes with me you'll gain valuable insight into the methods and techniques needed to create narrative art such as comic books, manga and children's books. We'll work together steps by step going over foundational drawing skills, character and world design and of course panel to panel storytelling. I really want you to achieve your artistic goals and am always to open questions you have about the visual narrative art form.
