What you'll do
If you're looking for fun things to do in San Francisco, join us for an engaging exploration into the science and fun of crafting cocktails. This cocktail making class in San Francisco will put a twist on your classic happy hour and is an excellent way to connect over a shared experience.
Your in-person mixology class will be guided by Rebecca Pinnell, an enthusiastic cocktail educator who has taught over 1200 cocktail classes and hails from NYC's Dante and SF's Bon Voyage!
Class begins with a welcome beverage to enjoy, while Rebecca introduces the experience and walks you through the bar tools used in class. Next, it is time to make a cocktail of your own, with step by step instruction and guidance. We will take a 20-minute break to enjoy the cocktail, returning for Q&A. Then you will make one final cocktail.
On Sunday October 29th, class lasts about 90 minutes and we will craft:
- Pomegranate Apple Sour (shaken/citrus driven): tart green apple, lemon, pomegranate juice, spices, and your choice of: vodka, tequila, bourbon, or alcohol-free spirit
- Tangerine Cardamom Highball (shaken/citrus driven): tangerine, cardamom, lemon, touch of vanilla, egg whites (optional), habanero (optional), oloroso sherry, and your choice of: gin, tequila, bourbon, or alcohol-free spirit
Your instructor focuses on creating an inclusive space which is of the utmost importance to this experience. Anyone 21 and over are welcome and every cocktail can be made without alcohol!
For private bookings: Some of the delicious cocktails you might make include a Kiwi Spritz with fresh juiced pineapple, a Berry Basil Ginger Mule, or a margarita tasting using two different recipes to learn about ratios and ingredients. Once you book the class, your instructor will send a menu with ten recipes where you will be able to select the three cocktails you'd like to make!

I am passionate about learning, educating and throwing a darn good party. Since 2014, I've taught cocktail history and disciplines to bar staffs and to humans curious about cocktails. I've crafted cocktail menus for restaurants and conducted cocktail events for private in-home events, weddings, gala's and office happy hours. Recently, I was the bar manager at San Francisco’s Bon Voyage!, and previously worked at Maialino, Barbuto and Dante at Genuine in New York City.
In 2020 I started my full service cocktail experience company and have since conducted over 500 cocktail events virtually and in-person.
