What you'll do
Put your quarantine fort-making skills to the test by creating your own pillow! In this online class, you'll get expert guidance from a crafting pro.
Your teacher with the Museum of Craft and Design will take you step-by-step as you learn how to embellish a plain pillowcase into something extra special. You will learn a variety of different customization techniques, including hand sewing and fabric appliqué.
Your DIY kits contain a range of embellishments and you will choose from a selection of fabric moods. You can also include your own new or upcycled textiles if you want to use supplies you have at home
This is a fun craft project to share with kids or to plan an online craft party. When you are done with class, you'll have a personalized pillow to use as home decor.
