This workshop will introduce you to all of the core skills used in metal fabrication — cutting, welding and grinding — through the guided creation of a stunning minimalist planter.
Guided by an expert craftsperson, you’ll get lots of hands-on experience with tools like MIG welders and angle grinders as you cut, shape, weld, and polish steel. You’ll practice and develop your skills and artistry and apply them to create a beautiful metal planter to take home.
Finally, you’ll be able to personalize your planter’s features, including the feet and finish. You can choose to leave your piece clean and shiny or use an engraver to add plenty of unique touches.
Whether you're a proficient power tool user or a complete novice, you'll end this class with newfound confidence in your creative skills as well as a cool, custom planter to take home and display!
