Giant, soft pretzels are fun for bakers of all ages to make and delicious for everyone in the family to enjoy! In this part-demonstration, part-hands-on class, we will bake soft pretzels from scratch and taste them with four different dipping sauces.
Choose your own pretzel variety from a selection of flour options, like spelt and wheat. Guided by your experienced chef, you will explore the microscopic world of yeast, watching the dough come to life in front of your very eyes, and you'll understand the science behind rising bread.
While the dough rises, we will whip up a few dipping sauces, from super simple to more challenging: a honey mustard dip, a cinnamon chocolate drizzle, a sour cream, horseradish & chive dip, and a pepper jack cheese sauce.
Then, we'll roll and shape pretzels and practice the proper baking method for these delicious treats. At the end of class, you will taste-test the dips with your freshly baked pretzels and also take a bunch of pretzels-- and recipes-- home with you!

What to bring
