What you'll do
Decorate your windows with colorful handmade stained glass! In this stained glass workshop, just north of Chicago, you'll learn how to make a small custom stained glass piece.
This class is perfect for beginners. No huge church pieces are expected of you! Your instructor will walk you through the process step by step as you start with one small piece that incorporates about 5-7 pieces of glass. Templates are provided, but you have lots of freedom to create your own design!
You'll learn the process of taking stained glass pieces scoring and breaking (cutting) glass, copper foil wrapping, and finally soldering it all together to make a fun piece you can let the light shine through. This is an exciting process that will be very rewarding once you get to see it shine!
Whether you're looking for experience gift ideas or you want to spend a relaxing day learning a new hobby, this hands-on workshop will provide a unique experience in a creative environment. This is a fun modern take on stained glass, that will allow you to learn a fun new craft and take home a stunning handmade piece in just one session.
