Looking for ways to cut down on using plastic and finding a sustainable alternative? Why not make your own solution? In this online class, you will learn how to make
eco-friendly reusable food wraps with fabric and melted beeswax.

Your teacher will walk you through each step of this DIY project. Anyone who loves to craft will find the fun in using fabric, beeswax, and a few other supplies to create your wraps.

You can size them for bowl covers, sandwich wraps, pouches, and other useful shapes. You'll get supplies in DIY craft kits – all you have to do is bring scissors and an iron. Add button closures to your wraps with the sewing kit that's included in the kit.

You will finish your class with four wraps, made with colorful cotton fabrics. Plus, learn how to care for the wraps to make them last longer. They make great gifts, too!

If you are looking for fun things to do at home, spend an hour making something practical and useful for yourself and the planet!

I am a maker specializing in fiber arts and eco-friendly crafts. I love teaching groups, large and small, and watching people complete a project in just one session. I got my start teaching about five years ago at several venues in and around San Francisco, and eventually branched out to online classes and packaged kits. Now I teach from my home in Minnesota, and I love that I can connect with groups all over the country.
