Antonia is a Chilean interdisciplinary artist. She focuses her work on story telling and the healing nature of art. Antonia was born in Santiago, Chile and immigrated with her family to Mobile, Alabama at the age of two. She moved back to the motherland as a teenager and lived in Vina del Mar, Chile until she graduated as a designer. From 2017-2021, she worked as a design educator in Providence, Rhode Island throughout middle schools and high schools from the Providence Public School District. She continued her work as an educator in Oakland, California, until May of 2023.
Antonia connects her work to healing due to the value that it has brought into her life. She sees exploring mediums and dedicating time into her crafts as a spaces where curiosity and play are welcome. She currently shares her knowledge with others through workshops, throughout the Bay Area as well as virtually.

Antonia was a wonderful instructor. All materials were provided including the clay, sculpting tools and clay. She showed us three techniques for making clay cups. The instruction took about 30 minutes and the remaining time was for us to work on our pieces with her assistance. I appreciated the slower pace and ability to end when we wanted to. My husband and I went on a day date and we had a private class. She was very knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. She also provided tips and feedback as we worked on our pieces.

i booked antonia for a birthday activity and had so much fun antonia is super sweet, really talented and knowledgeable. a lot of us were first time potters and definitely want to try it again.

Antonia was very welcoming and offered great instruction. The class was a great team building, allowed me and my co-workers to relax and invite creativity. It’s was a nice break to work with our hands I stead of staring at a computer.

Had such a fun and relaxing time with Antonia! She was so welcoming, kind, and supportive. Loved the setting outside under a shady tree, and did not expect it to be a private class! Would definitely do again!

The setting was so nice in the shade of a big tree in the courtyard! I actually didn't realize it was a private class, so it was also nice surprise! The teacher Antonia was also super sweet. Would definitely do again!
