What you'll do

Celebrate Earth Day with some gardening in this fun workshop in NYC! In this hands-on gardening workshop, you will learn about Earth Day and discover simple recycling alternatives in this fun hour-long workshop. In a creative semi-private class setting, join this recyclable planting and decorating workshop by yourself, with some friends or family, etc. This is the perfect activity to destress and introduce nature into your urbanite life.

What you'll do:

Plant three plants within a biodegradable peat pot that can be transplanted to a garden or larger indoor pot as each plant grows!
The instructor will guide you on how to build your 12-inch rectangle box planter, and you will also learn how to recycle elements that you have at home already!
You will learn how to care for your plants so they continue to thrive and grow.
Choose from fun decorative elements like pebbles and mosses, preserved plants to make the box design fit within your aesthetic.

As you immerse yourself in the creative experience, you'll feel a sense of tranquility and accomplishment as you watch your living art come together.

Please note:

Our New York location can hold up to 15 people and there is a 5-person minimum to book the class. We can travel to your location for a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 250 people.
Your instructor can travel within 30 miles. A travel fee of $150 will be billed after the initial booking is paid. Please inquire if the location is farther.
For virtual events, there will be a $15 shipping charge per kit that will be charged after the workshop is booked. There are also additional shipping costs for Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and international addresses.
