What you'll do
In this workshop in Malibu, you will connect and study nature while self-reflecting and journaling. Stones are the bones of the earth: a living vessel, an enriched body of cosmic material. When we pick up a stone, we hold in the palm of our hand a piece of life. Like human beings, no two bodies of stone are exactly the same — and yet uniquely crafted, weathered, and sculpted by the visible and invisible forces of time and space.
During this workshop, we will explore what it means still ourselves, in order to listen to deep time with soft hands. Using stones as mirrors of the body, we will observe the textures of history, allowing our hands to trace the organic patterns of the materials memory. Together, we will reflect and translate the myths of our bodies, whilst surfacing the secrets of their hidden nature.
This workshop will include journalling and self reflection prompts, collecting stones on location, and creating a shared stone circle.
Knowledge required
No pre-knowledge or technical skills required. Please come with an open and curious mind.

I am passionate about helping others unearth their creative expression and explore the ways in which that matter seeks to find form through a diverse range of mediums. I prefer to lead art immersions and workshops out in nature to stimulate deeper levels of sensorial connection which invite imagination and the spaciousness for play to unfold. I have been teaching and learning about art, human behavior, and sensory perception in a very self-guided but focused way for the past 12+ years, and it is what I founded a business upon.
I believe everyone is an artist, and in my experience elemental spaces inspire elemental expression to emerge.
