What you'll do

Does your little artist have a birthday or a celebration coming up? Plan a unique party that is fun and interactive with a paint party in Chicago. In this paint party workshop for kids, your child can connect with friends, explore their creativity through paint, and create their very own masterpiece!

Our skilled instructor will guide the group step-by-step through the painting process, teaching painting techniques and providing helpful tips along the way. Skills taught may include: mixing colors, working safely with the materials, applying different brush strokes, and adding texture or pattern. This workshop is open to all levels, and beginners are welcome.

During the workshop, your child will also have the chance to experiment with a variety of materials, such as canvases, paintbrushes, and high-quality paints. Each party will have a themed painting, which will be determined ahead of time. All of the supplies will be provided, including set-up and clean-up.
At the end of the workshop, your child will get to take their artwork home. What a unique and special party favor!

Hi my name is Molly Cranch and I am an artist, author-illustrator and arts educator based in Chicago, Illinois.

I have taught students ranging from age 3 to adulthood in a wide variety of settings including public and private schools, online and in art museums and art centers. I have taught a wide range of art media, however I love to teach 2D materials such as drawing, painting, collage, and bookmaking.

My teaching philosophy is relaxed, supportive and student-centered. I teach basic skills and techniques while allowing room for creative flow.
