I cut my teeth working in Michigan beer dives and shot joints (before the law even allowed me to drink alcohol) then moved to Chicago where I discovered and embraced the World of the Cocktail. My enthusiasm for cocktail culture and passion for crafting unique recipes has earned me industry recognition, such as 50 Women to Watch in Hotel F&B magazine, as well as countless features in publications such as Imbibe, Food and Wine, Vogue, Forbes, GQ, and Time Out LA, to name a few.

I am a graduate of the distinguished BAR 5-DAY program in New York City, which stands as one of the industry’s top mixology certifications. I strive to continuously be increasing my knowledge of my craft, through certifications, reading, and the generosity of mentors.

In 2020 I launched Historically Drinking to explore and share my love of the world of cocktails and history through teaching and consulting for businesses large and small. That love is further shared in my book “Once Upon a Cocktail- West Hollywood” which I co-authored with award winning illustrator Katie Brightside.

Let’s have some fun making cocktails and talking history!
