Went as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday! It was great. We had a lot of fun and our dumplings were delicious. Our teacher was very informative, nice, and funny. He continually came around to offer individualized help and did a great demo! All around it was romantic and fun :)

This was my first class with ClassBento and I couldn't be happier! Nurullah was a great facilitator - informed, clear, flexible, and very calming (which was nice for this class specifically). The kit was EXCELLENTLY designed - super thoughtful and easy to set up, go through, and clean up. And the end product felt like way more than the sum of its parts. I bought this class as a gift to my boyfriend's  + more

My friend and I signed up for the chunky blanket class as part of a birthday gift and we had SUCH a wonderful time! Cara is an incredible teacher -- very patient, kind, and fun. You do not need any prior knitting / crocheting experience and the knitting with your fingers is not only fun, but it goes very quickly. By the end of the class, we were already about 1/4 completed with our blankets and we  + more

Leah was very informative. She gave a brief history on paper marbling as an art form. She told us about two forms of paper marbling and the one we were doing: suminagashi. Sumingashi is the easiest as it only requires ink and water. She showed us examples of her paper marbling art. She is very creative. I like the venue as it breathed crafting & art. We learned that we can come to the venue  + more

Nur had a very welcoming personality and introduced me to a lot creative options with resin. I was intimidated with the idea of using it, and Nur talked me through it and led me to feel more comfortable with it. I took this class as a gift from a friend, and I don't think I would have ever taken one on my own accord. I feel so much more excited with other ideas and to do projects with my child, now.  + more

I bought this class as a gift for a friend of mine and we had the best time. We had never done pottery before and yet we managed to make a piece that we were proud of. The guidance and support of the teacher is awesome as it is a small group so she has time to come help you whenever you need. I would definitely recommend and I am looking forward to going back!

I purchased a class as a birthday gift for my granddaughter. We live in MN and we took the class in February. I was concerned about the succulents being shipped and surviving but they made it just fine. We later learned they were packed with heat packs to protect the plant babies. The instructor was engaging and lots of fun. We giggled through our oaths and had a really good time assembling our terrariums.  + more

This wood working class was amazing! Our teacher was so knowledgeable, helped us build confidence with machinery, and provided everything we needed! There was a perfect amount of time for us to work together (sharing the machines/discussing which materials to use) but also on our own time to just be present and focus on the beautiful task at hand! Great for new and experienced individuals. Great price  + more

This class was great! I really enjoyed the instruction and tips from Jo. This is a fun way to craft a gift for yourself or someone else. The kit comes with a file and two wax rings. You can work out your design with the first ring and then have a second to make it better. Or make two rings (there would be an additional cost to have two rings cast. The course fee covers the cost of casting one silver  + more

I bought my partner a ClassBento gift card as a gift and I am so glad he chose this class for us to attend together! The instructor was so well-prepared, encouraging, clear and kind throughout the class. It was clear that he took a lot of care to design the class and give us the best experience possible by buying fresh, organic produce and meats from local markets for our shared cooking experience and meal - the quality of the food was incredible and well worth the cost of the class and the good vibes were an added bonus. We learned how to make  + more

I got this as a gift for my partner's birthday – neither of us had done a cooking class before, but we cook a decent amount at home so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a full class, but Stefano and Dona did an excellent job of being attentive to everyone making sure we all got to participate in different parts of the process. Even as someone who is an experienced home cook, I came away learning a lot and the food was delicious! It was neat getting to try our hands at making the three different types of pasta from scratch. I recently had the privilege of taking a Kintsugi class with Kat, and it was nothing short of a transformative experience. Kat is a skilled instructor with a deep understanding of Kintsugi, guided us through the process with patience and expertise. This class was a gift from my daughter. Our teacher was engaging, informative, knowledgeable and entertaining (funny)! The professional kitchen was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. We (a class of 16) had plenty of room to observe, participate in demonstrations, and do the work of the class - making dumplings! We learned how to roll a spring roll with rice wrappers, how to make dumpling dough, and four ways to roll and shape dumplings. Our teacher's demonstrations were detail-oriented but not overly complicated. Our creations were steamed and  + more

This was my first ClassBento and it was a great time for me and my youth (15 yr old). Moonshot Studio is located in downtown Noe Valley so parking may be a little tricky but we just parked a little further away and walked in. Our instructor (and owner) was Teresa and she was so sweet, enthusiastic, and informative. It look about 1.5 hours for us to complete our candle-making activity, which is a bit longer than the class was supposed to take but Teresa didn't rush us at all. Once completed, Teresa asked us to either return in 90 mins to pick up  + more

Context: workshop gifted to me by my partner because she knows I like to swing by cologne counters and check out offerings. Andbest gift EVER! Workshop: Michelle lead our workshop with much info, ease and aplomb! She started out with a few slides with information on perfume structure and scent categorization then quickly pivoted to passing around and smelling scent samples from their collection. We smelled a dizzying number of scents (I had to re-up on the mimosa 1/2 way through) as Michelle explained how each was derived/extracted; its characteristics  + more
