What you'll do
Meet new people, enjoy a fun craft, and take home new items to cherish! At this NYC event, you will swap clothing and books, and decorate and write some postcards to send to our loved ones! If you're looking for fun things to do in NYC, social activities to meet new people, or planet-friendly events, join this unique swap meet! Bring three clothing items and books to swap with new friends. You will get a ticket for each item you bring to swap with an item from someone else. Anything leftover will be donated! You'll also get to enjoy a creative activity. Everyone will receive two postcards to decorate/write to a friend, pen pal, lover, mother, etc.! Crayons, colored pencils, and markers are available for use to decorate your postcards. You can mail them yourself, or give them to us to stamp and send on your behalf.This casual and fun activity fosters a positive environment and will allow you to explore your creativity and leave on a refreshed note!

- Please bring clothing and books to swap (no more than three of each, please)!
- We are a shoes-off/slippers space - so wear your favorite socks or bring the fuzzy bunny slippers (we also will have shoe covers).
- There is one restroom available on site (at this time, please note it is not accessible to wheelchairs)

Angela (our founder!) started hosting claydates, playdates with clay, from her small studio apartment and now we call Chelsea our home. When choosing a new name for the space, it was important to capture the essence of a cozy space to meet up, create, or just be amid the hustle and bustle of the city.
