Watercolor Painting Workshop

In this workshop, you will join a creative community in learning how to paint with watercolors.This is a beginner-friendly painting workshop, where your teacher will guide you through watercolor painting basics. Learn how to control (and when to let go) various water-soluble mediums, including watercolor.You’ll learn the fundamental techniques, then experiment with wax resisting, salt, blotting, watercolor crayons, and even collaging on your own watercolor painting! This is a playful, experiential class, where we collaborate with new friends while learning to get in the flow. Take home new skills and inspired ideas to continue a new hobby!Finish class by framing your handmade creation, which will give you a satisfying sense of accomplishment! Painting can make for a relaxing hobby that allows you to explore and tap into your artistic side. All of the supplies you will need are provided, plus drinks and snacks. This class is open level and beginners are encouraged! Whether you come with friends or solo, you will mingle and create around a shared table which fosters a supportive and friendly environment.
