My friend chose this class for a birthday party and it was so fun. The teacher was knowledgeable, nice, and easy to talk to. We carved and/or painted our plates with underglaze. I can't wait to see my plate when it's done.

We had a wonderful time taking this Sgraffito class! We learned a lot about different techniques, glazing, clay and more. All materials were provided - all you have to do is show up (but would recommend brainstorming what design you want to do on your platter before arriving). Kaytea was an excellent teacher and conversationalist throughout our session. Would highly recommend this class and can't wait to take more!

We had so much fun at Katie’s sgrafito class! The instruction was clear, the materials were well-prepared and the atmosphere was small and very personalized.

Incredibly kind teacher! Used multiple paint and sgraffito techniques as a complete beginner and didn’t feel rushed at all

My team had an awesome time at the sgraffito workshop and would absolutely recommend it! Katie was a wonderful instructor and made the craft very accessible, even for those on the team who were less artistically inclined. She created the mug bodies ahead of time and we spent the time carving our designs - it was just the right amount of time to learn a new skill while also creating something that we were proud of and will actually use in our homes. Great team bonding activity!

Teacher's response

Hi Kasey!
Thank you so much for your glowing review! Your team was a delight to work with. I’m slow-drying your steins, and I’ll be in touch in a week or two about pickup.
