This was fun! The instructor was super knowledgeable and accommodating. I'm vegan and avoid using beeswax and the instructor was very willing to stick to soy wax to accommodate this.
I learned a lot and had a ton of fun making a great gift. My friend made one of these candles as a Mother's Day gift and his mom was touched to tears by it! The kit had everything we needed and there was a decent variety of plants to choose from at our table. My friend and I signed up for the chunky blanket class as part of a birthday gift and we had SUCH a wonderful time! Cara is an incredible teacher -- very patient, kind, and fun. You do not need any prior knitting / crocheting experience and the knitting with your fingers is not only fun, but it goes very quickly. Hanna was extremely knowledgeable and able to present the information in a way that was very easy to understand. I'm confident that I have the tools to figure out how to correctly (and safely) make soap with any type of oil I choose. Well worth the money.

This is a no-nonsense class where you really learn by doing. There's a quick hello and then you're geared up and pounding on molten pieces of rebar like you're a Viking blacksmith forging a sword. After hammering, shaping, quenching, grinding, and weaving, four hours later you leave the workshop with a knifeThis is a GREAT time.

DIY Turkish Mosaic Lamp
Nurullah is a very patient, detail oriented teacher. I loved learning about the origins of Art String and Mosaic Lamps. Both classes are a lot of fun to do! He's also very friendly, and makes sure you experience a truly complete Turkish experience with treats, music and culture.
I was offered a very generous discount for my second class, which made me be fully immersed in the activity and stay present to enjoy it. Would definitely take another class soon!
