Kiana is a Content Writer based in Portland, Oregon. Since joining the team, she’s helped grow the US platform by optimizing class descriptions for teachers and writing engaging content for the website. She enjoys diving into the latest craft trends and using her research to fuel new stories and ideas.

You also might recognize her face on ClassBento US’s Instagram and TikTok. As the US platform has grown, Kiana has adapted her role to include social media marketing, to bring the ClassBento mission to new faces across the US.

Outside of work, Kiana spends most of her free time learning new crafts (her current favorites include pottery and crocheting). She also enjoys catching up on the latest flicks with a slice of pizza at local movie theaters.

Career story
Kiana studied journalism and film studies at the University of Oregon, where she discovered her passion for written and multimedia storytelling. She has since contributed arts and culture reporting to publications such as Willamette Week, Willamette Week’s Finder Magazine, Sip Northwest, Cidercraft Magazine, and Quip Magazine.

Aside from her journalistic endeavors, she has managed social media accounts and blogs for a fine art gallery and a sustainable and locally sourced plant food company.
