What you'll do
Spend time in nature and unleash your creativity in this workshop in San Francisco! In this class, you’ll make art outdoors with objects from nature. Choose to explore the beach or the forest.
First, we’ll talk about Land Art and discuss ideas. Then you’ll forage for natural objects, using your creativity to find beauty and art in nature. Whether you draw inspiration from colorful flower petals or the textures of driftwood, you'll be able to create something that reflects your thought process and showcases your personality. Finally, you’ll put it all together and will create a unique work of art that will be left for passersby to admire.
Being in nature and making art are two great ways to connect to yourself and others. This workshop offers both. It can be wonderfully collaborative - great for team building - or a perfect way to get some alone time with Mother who keeps her opinions to herself...Mother Nature!

I’m Carrie Leeb, an artist/designer/teacher/entrepreneur/Bay Area native, and I love making things. I feel most alive when I’m creating, and I want to impart this same passion for exploring, experimenting, and making to as many people as I can (like you!). Spark Studio’s a place where this happens.
