What you'll do

Learn the art of mixology without the spirits in the San Francisco Bay Area! High-end craft cocktails can be accessible to all people's imbibing preferences, including an endless array of alcohol-free options! This class is great for adults and children.

Your instructor, Rebecca Pinnell, a Bay Area mixologist and cocktail educator, delights at the chance to talk about and teach how to make outstanding and interesting alcohol-free cocktails. This is a fun way to get together with friends, coworkers, or family without alcohol.

Your instructor will come to your home, office, or park with all ingredients and bar tools in tow for everyone to craft three spirit-free cocktails. The menu is determined by your group's flavor and fresh produce preferences, and the class can even be set to a theme. Using fresh produce, teas, and modern spirit-free ingredients to make delicious mocktail recipes!

If a few people in the group would enjoy a cocktail with alcohol added, there is an option for that as well, as long as it feels appropriate to bring alcohol to the event.

Sample Menu:

Jungle Bird: homemade "Campari" tea, black molasses tea, pineapple, lime
Chai Apple Mule: Bitter Chamomile, fresh-pressed apple juice, marsala chai, lemon, ginger
Kiwi & Rosemary Spritz: verjus, kiwi oleo-saccharum, rosemary, cinnamon, lemon, sparkling water

What to bring

Rebecca will bring all bar tools and ingredients to craft cocktails.
You are responsible for providing tables and seating (optional) for attendees.
Rebecca will provide glassware for up to 12 participants. For larger groups, we can use compostable cups, or she will work with you to arrange glassware rentals.

Suitable for

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, birthday or bachelorette party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 5 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.

This would also be a lovely gift for her, gift for mom, anniversary gift or birthday gift.

Some call me a cocktail evangelist

I am passionate about learning, educating and throwing a darn good party. Since 2014, I've taught cocktail history and disciplines to bar staffs and to humans curious about cocktails. I've crafted cocktail menus for restaurants and conducted cocktail events for private in-home events, weddings, gala's and office happy hours. Recently, I was the bar manager at San Francisco’s Bon Voyage!, and previously worked at Maialino, Barbuto and Dante at Genuine in New York City.

In 2020 I started my full service cocktail experience company and have since conducted over 500 cocktail events virtually and in-person.
